PhD Scholarship for Touch and Stylus Interaction
We have a PhD Scholarship available to work with me on Touch and Stylus computing. The actual focus of your research could be recognition engines, sketch tools, or the interactive experience. The scholarship is open to international students and is for fees and a $25k per year stipend for 3 years. 25k a year is enough to live in Auckland and you can usually earn a bit extra
working as a teaching assistant. Our PhDs follow the English model and are research only – entry is from a 4 year degree or Masters. While the scholarship is for 3 years they are often extended for another 6 months – you would be expected to hand-in within 4 years.
So if you have an excellent academic record (A average grades or equivalent) and are interested in studying in New Zealand, have a look at the web pages below. I am happy to answer questions.
