A few question 1. Are you able to change the language from Japanese to English? 2. Are you able to change the frequency limit without installing an fm expander? 3. Are you able to change the maps to Kenyan?
From my experience the functionality you mentioned are never a problem. If you can change the three above, then you are awesome.
