I've now managed to successfully update to Gingerbread-2.3.5 by using http://lix.in/-a7f0fb
2.3.4 was a bit buggy (for me) because I could not  manage to login to my gmail account at all. This 2.3.5 does it instantly, responds faster.. I don't care whether or not it's official ROM as long as this ka-Linux box on my palms works:-)
