Hello Guys,

M-pesa is a vodafone product according to my knowledge, so if there is any buyout it should be between Vodafone and the 'buyer', note that m-pesa concept cannot work all over the world, the service will fold curtains in the south African market (means it will not work in most developed economies) but it is thriving in Bangladesh and India, same with Tanzania- in Egypt the uptake is also poor.

With Kind regards
Calvin

This wasn't supposed to start in Kenya, but somewhere in UK and US.  (i.e where IBM & Vodafone meet.) and ends up in Kenya.  May be it's a deal done, and the Facebook boss was in Kenya to prepare Kenyans psychologically for the news.
