From the pdf file, its kbps , not KB/s. Big difference there : kbps is circuit speed while KB/s is data tranfer speed. Conversion from kbps into KB/s is /8. Therefore, the 512kbps connection on an average gave you 7.5KB/s @ 60kbps. Thats pretty slow ( similar to 3g+ )when considering safcom 3g gives upto 140KB/s @ 1120kbps.
