@Peter, Dennis. For active coders and developers as yourself, your contributions are a big help. I've not problems with people re-using code libraries nor templates to get the job done as I understand the realities on the ground, though originality is something important. Either way, and as you have clarified, its depends on the work itself. But then there is a question. If there is so much availability of libraries and templates, how come the sector is not active on lists with on-going projects, development work etc? I was referring to those who are on this list but stay away. All of these things below are on google but worth discussions : Some points of contributions : - Template libraries or such - Photoshop libraries or such - Javascript Libraries, tools or such - Forms designs, code - Creation of local applications using available libraries - Creation of peers I cannot believe that so far I've not seen any thread defining what Web 1 or Web 2 is. Server side scripting, Ajax, Java Script, SilverLight, CSS, WordPress, Joomla, C++, classes, namespaces, Mobile Devices platforms ( eg symbian and C++, Microsoft Mobile etc ), Server side applications, etc. There is so much yet and thanks to @Rad, @Peter and @David replied to the thread. Anyway, if others do not want to contribute, I shall soon myself. :-) *Peter Karunyu* pkarunyu at gmail.com <skunkworks%40lists.my.co.ke?Subject=Re%3A%20%5BSkunkworks%5D%20Ignorance%20question%20on%20Web%20design..&In-Reply-To=%3C522a95920910140652q658aa975w232be002b75e6539%40mail.gmail.com%3E>wrote : Aki, what would you consider to be the most well built/well developed hardware/software respectively? My purpose is to dig deeper and find out if the makers of that device/app reused stuff or did it from scratch. I do agree with Dennis, its all depends on the situation. Sometimes it makes sense to reuse, sometimes it does not. On Wed, Oct 14, 2009 at 4:18 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi at gmail.com<http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks>> wrote: *
