I believe Diploma guys should be considered too depending on the work. I have found that Diploma guys are more technical and 'hardy' than BSc IT guys when it comes to technical work. I find BSc IT better at sitting in the office and doing stuff, not holding screw-drivers and getting on the ground. The best of the lot are those who did diplomas, went into production, and later did BSc IT, part-time or otherwise.
