Hv you confirmed the headers. There is no Email Service Provider (ESP) that warranty's about your personal account security be it commerical or free if they do so they lie. Its wrong to sta the spam is limited to google, I hv seen samples from hotmail & other domains too. Their is a possibility this is an outbreak of a worm thats collecting addreses , high chances is that the email has not originated from google either.. its jst using a spoofed address. is it me or is there a lot more spam in gmail? i am constantly getting email from friends selling electronics that are clearly not from them? how are they hijacking people's emails?
