I am not a webdev, but having played with WP a bit, I can tell you that the reason you are seeing the difference in behaviour between your launchpad and the live server is likely resulting from the difference in the environments - PHP-wise. You are NOT running the same PHP versions
on
the two platforms. Try and look at that first.
However, most likely, some WP plugin you have enabled is causing you the grief.
