
Postdoctoral Fellow in Systems with General Intelligence The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia Michael Thielscher and the Artificial Intelligence Research Group in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at UNSW are seeking to employ a postdoctoral fellow to conduct high quality and innovative research in systems with general intelligence. The priority area is general game playing. Candidates with background in knowledge representation, as related to agents and systems with general intelligence, are also encouraged to apply. Ideally, the successful candidate will combine strong theoretical knowledge with a background in writing software for intelligent agents or autonomous systems. Salary Level: Level A (A$71K - A$76K per year, plus 9% employer superannuation and leave loading) The School of Computer Science is part of the Faculty of Engineering, the largest of its kind in Australia. Its Artificial Intelligence Research Group is one of the leading centres of research in intelligent systems world-wide. The group conducts fundamental and applied research in Knowledge Representation, Robotics, Interactive Media and Computational Neuroscience.
