I find this forum appropriate to engage in this discussion. Once again, if this has been done before, forgive me, im trying to get opinions and views, and possible scenarios. Please consider the following: 1: Fiber lands, Mobile providers offer unlimited band on 3G at monthly flat rates: say for instance 7.2M at Ksh2000 on a contention ratio of about 100 users. What possible scenarios exist for companies like access , wananichi and other providers. 2: Would companies like safari and zain (or Cain depending on who is next online) have capacity to roll out (and sustain 3G network) countrywide? -> this being from a business and not technology perspective. -> are mobile companies a real enough threat to kill traditional ISPs? 3: is it realistic to envision someday setting my webserver connected to an e61i or huaweii modem and sell realistic hosting from the comfort of my home in kajiado? Thanks in Advance. -- If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple.
