This is not a fight. What I see happening over and over of late is people who believe they are 'idea' people. They should be paid for the idea, or partner with you for ideas, I want you to test it, hire a developer, show me something beyond the talk. Differentiate your idea.

Now imagine someone that has an idea and the ability to produce something and actually ship. Even if you steal it then what? on this list alone there are so so many ideas worth funding of someone goes out and starts executing them.

In a startup environment we need people that can execute their ideas. And I stand by not funding ideas without something tangible other than PowerPoint slides and a passion. I dont care if its a bank. I also personally won't take anyone's money for an idea that doesn't have a customer, a prototype or at least an understanding that the finder is gambling.

@Mugambi, @ Kianja, @ALL: I agree with you OPINIONS but don't DISAGREE with my OPINION, you may be right and am I may be right. Some Ideas are poached will someone say that has never happened. So I agree but disagree at the same time.
Yes you need to start somewhere well said.

The problem with kenyans is wanting to start all ideas big so they can be rich by tomorrow.

Why not start at home with your PC? Even facebook began in a dormroom....and if you trace microsoft, you will see only 2 geeks starting out without an office.

Where did this idea for starting big come from?

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.As we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
