Hi Guys,
I have seen many discussions on this list about the Safaricom, Zain, Orange and Yu modems. My question is, which of them is the better option (no pun intended)?
Better option means:
1. Cost (of both the modem and data) 2. Best speeds 3. Easiest to configure on Linux [?]
Cost comes second in my reasoning. First I need the speeds, then I look at the cost! Now, if you just seen my response to Joram Mwimano, I'd recommend Orange, but only when you have coverage! Zain still don't have speeds, but they are coming this month, so I've heard reliably. I don't know their prices. Yu - I don't know anything about them. Easiest to configure on Linux is not my kind of soup. I am "the *BSD" guy:-) If you discover that Orange 3G+ coverage is available everywhere you go, touch Queen Bee with a 10-yard stick! -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube
