I hardly do any programming in Java so i cant refer any good reding material to you but that does not mean I cant point you in the right direction. Here goes. I assume by module you are talking about plugins. Nways, the general idea here is to develop a core system, then develop a wrapper around that This is a wrapper to the API. Nways, in the wrapper you will have determined what functions and classes and data you want to expose to the modules and minimum condition each module must meet to plug into the API. So if I want a module that appears on a menubar, it appears on a certain canvas and can access the systems data, in my API I would have a function to register my module on the menubar, another on the specific canvas and maybe my module would be given access to the data based on some pre determined key through specific functions. Thats the general thought process (if you are building it from scratch). Like I said , I cant refer you to Java resources but hope this is a start. Hi guys, I want to work on a modular web system in Java. I want a system container where I could create more modules and add into that. Anyone with ideas of books I could read on that can share with me. Regards Richard Gathogo.
