
my main suspicion is a virus, given that both are windows machines. you will have to format and reinstall on at least one drive, then immediately Install an antivirus and updates. DO NOT double click on any other drives before installing an AV, use the folders explorers method instead to access driver. KAV or Mcafee(this works) with recent updates should work.
