@Kioko, I think I gave the alarm to a friend, no idea what he did with it. However, subject to correction, I think that after the first year, you can install whatever alarm (or not) you want, since when doing the annual valuation, all they (valuer) note down is "alarm system installed", they (insurer) do not require an alarm installation certificate.
