Joseph, Yes I have had my house 'flooded' and my laptop partially submerged. After this about 2/3 the screen had water inside and behaved like those ASAHI wrist watches we used to play with back in the days when they came into contact with water. I left my laptop unused for about 2/3 weeks in an open position and lying sideways so the water can drain. I resumed using it after this time with the water still occupying about 1/2 the screen and it cleared itself out slowly after about a month.
