ill reiterate what my friend david and I were talking about and concluded. IIEC has done great, now we know the most powerful position in the new Kenya (DB admin / webmaster of IIEC).
From this point forward though, what IIEC needs is to avail data from their database in an xml feed, and give anyone interested in a live feed an opportunity to recieve this realtime.
that way every skunk can design their own presentation and enjoy the results in their own way. what do you guys think?
Agreed. This data has to be made publicly available. Please note releasing it to the media is not the same as making it publicly available. I am especially interested in how the data was being sent to and received by the server (the new Blackberries?). From the chairman's statement yesterday it was almost like he was saying that once the results are sent from the constituencies to the servers the IIEC can not interfere with them which would mean that the devices "talk" directly to the servers. Secondly, where are these servers? In a ISP? In a government office? Off Shore? At Bomas? -- Pamoja e:daudi.were@gmail.com <e%3Adaudi.were@gmail.com> skype: d.were
