Hi Wash, I have a solution based on the open source libfprint <http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB4QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.freedesktop.org%2Fwiki%2FSoftware%2Ffprint%2Flibfprint%2F&ei=_CAIVda6AYT3aonSgegH&usg=AFQjCNG1Y8fCakXnQIwPGkmGJ6wttmlE8Q&sig2=3X43eNhSkyJiYsSOPEfpPA&bvm=bv.88198703,d.d2s>, can save fingerprint template to db, and can export to file as well and pretty much anything else programatically possible. It uses simple usb fingerprint readers. Are you looking for something like this or for the standalone readers used to allow access through doors and for attendance records ? -- Ndungi Kyalo On 17 March 2015 at 15:08, Odhiambo Washington via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
Does anyone know of a simple biometric reader, which has a software interface that can let me print out or export the fingerprints as files?
Would be nice if available locally and if you can tell the cost.
