- SELinux is now able to stop processes from using ptrace (process trace) to inspect memory being used by other processes.
- New libvirt sandbox functions allow applications to be easily isolated.
- Support for iSCSI and FCoE SCSI targets using the LIO generic target subsystem.
- The removal of the /bin/, /sbin/, /lib/ and /lib64/ directories.
- GNOME Shell 3.4 works on machines without 3D graphics acceleration.
