We had a great event yesterday and the turnout quality of presentations and level of engagement was amazing.
We heard about: -
Waabeh: Online content distribution network
Bitcoin: Enhancing financial Inclusion
Kenyan's plans to have a space program.
BeerShara: Role of beer discussions towards innovation
Able Wireless: Powering Video on demand content distribution, among many others.
In the plenary session clearly the hottest topics of discussion revolved around: -
Content and Commercialization and "Who Stole my Idea" :-)
I was impressed to meet a journalist sent from der spiegel in Germany specifically to cover the event, as well a Channel France.
Our job board was very active and I heard of some people who either got interviews or job offers, that is what BarCamp is all about.
Finally, Let me take this chance to thank: iHub and Nailab for Hosting, Internet Society and Linux Professionals Institute for their generous financial sponsorship, The Organizing team and all 300+ who showed up without you this wouldn't have happened
Let's keep innovating and hope something great comes from this discussions.
