Philip, That's a splendid analysis and I agree with you on all counts except the last one. Samsung will win this one. By filling an injunction, Apple validates Galaxy tab 10.1 as the true competitor to the ipad and has apple scared spitless. Remember this is only an injunction not a final ruling, the onus is on Apple to prove that the Tab infringes on the design patent. I wish them well. The reign at the to will not last forever, but given the history of where Apple is coming from, it is not a small achievement. And since they are still growing and creating new markets which did not even exists, they will be on top for a long time to come.
They have a new iPhone and iPad lined up this year, plus they are curtailing existing markets for Samsung and Android. There is talk of them hitting 1 Trillion USD in Market Cap before end of next year. _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke
