I don&#39;t know why we complain so much and still thrive in the windows ecosystem. Viruses will target the dominant player to keep antivirus makers in business, its supply vs demand stupid. <div><br></div><div>Once *nix desktop become a little dominant, these trends will shift. Windows is a solid, tested and secure platform. Especially when used with the Windows Essentials or Eset NOD32 range of AV. Ms Office is light years ahead of their *nix counterparts.<br>

Windows does not limit software production and extension of its OS, thats why most people use it. With great power comes great risks. Windows is popular and people know how to easily develop on it and tweak it. What you are trying to say is Windows purposely make these leaks....and maybe they do......leaks to allow antivirus companies to make and share money with them so that they can also provide upgrades and new releases<br>

@paul If antiviruses are perfected in windows i wonder then why every now and then theres a new one causing havoc amongst users while on the other *nix end antivirus? maybe just for fun (sic) plus no new viruses every other day.<div>
