John Doe, Let assume the services are "in the clear",
Denis, how does a RO dish transmit? Which frequencies is it transmitting? If it worked then, why not now?
Bending an aerial towards DsTV to watch what the owner was watching? The skeptic in me doubts it.Something called CAS- conditional Access System.

But this is an old concept, somehow TVs transmit what you watch, especially for cheap stuff. when I was in primary school, people could bend their aerials towards a DSTv dish to watch what the owner was watching. Meanwhile, in Campus, where rooms were next to each other and with tables separated by a thin wall, a Tv in one room could "watch" what the occupants of the other room were playing from a DVD player.TV transmitting??.. not sure this is in anyway possible. .. The RF card on tv is a receive only._______________________________________________
