Multichoice is not short off adverts, i beleive they are actually spoilt of choice. They do major multinational companies & corporation adverts in their different channels with respect to target groups. They are just greedy, not considerate to their subscribers, and taking advantage of their monopoly. Their hefty subscription fees they collect can sustain the company operations alone without adverts. If you have lived in the middle east checkout Bein sports (then Aljazeera sports) packages, quite friendly to their subscribers. Both satelite and IP tvs. Hujuma, wa-africa sisi ndo twaumia. Bravo

When you convert the KES to USD and the USD to ZAR they make money there because the dollar has significantly strengthened against the Shilling & the Rand. Why don't they denominate the subscription on Rand equivalents? If that were the case Kenyans would be paying less than the current rate.
