If it is a product as you want to put it then why would Safaricom send you 5 sms's telling you you have insufficient credits to send one message?? ./TheMburu On Fri, Sep 21, 2012 at 11:41 AM, Kimani Kevin <kevinkimani@gmail.com>wrote:

I think there should be a mechanism to reverse a purchase of airtime and get back your many regardeless of taxation just like it would happen if you purchase a physical good.
Think of it like returning the product, whereby you should be allowed to return all the airtime purchase for a full refund of the money. That way, Safaricom reverses any revenue they had booked plus all the taxes like VAT and Excise they have collect on behalf of the GOK.
The same laws that cover the return of good bought should cover return of services such as airtime.
It actually shouldn't be a favour Safaricom is doing you, should be part of your rights. Any company worth self-respecting accepts returns (unused and undamaged) with no questions asked. Amazon does it, Nakumatt does it, Walmart does it, so Safaricom should do it.
