I started online then moved it to localhost.

Hello Patrick,

Try and create a new .htaccess file and upload it to your server?
Did you start developing the site on localhost?

@Martin a disclosure of interest would be good right about now.

I dislike the Touchwiz interface and all its versions. It actually makes it
harder to do things for me since I have to learn afresh a new interface and
way of doing things. It also feels rather dumbed down in my opinion.

For regular users I suppose this is a good thing but for me this is too
iPhone like in terms of anyone can use it. Not that the Vanilla android is
difficult to use.

Hello guys,

I have a wordpress website that I want to change the permalinks from the
numbers(localhost/test/?page_id=2) to the pretty permalinks e.g.
localhost/test/about.

I have changed on the settings on the admin panel but the
pages don't reflect but show a server error. From the panel you are
required to change some settings on htaccess but the file isn't on my root.
When I start a htaccess file it still brings the error. My research so far
has been somewhat futile.

Any advice will be appreciated.
