Android phones support - tethering - which allows you to broadcast your 3g connection via wifi - creating a "mobile hotstpot" to which you can add your other devices. If the app/feature is not available on your model - look for an application called "Barnacle"

Speaking of which. I have the VF845 and am unable to use it to connect to the net using a Linux machine (much like how we use a dongle). Tried usb_modeswitch with no success. Any early adopter with a solution ?
