Hi Roy, Would you happen to know whether Uchumi's ERP is linked to an external EDI? I am curious to know whether Uchumi employ a bespoke system that is interoperable (i.e. facilitates exchange of information with their trusted partners) throughout their supply chain? I have been reading up on Tesco's TIE, Sainbury's SID and ASDA's Asda Retail Link systems which not only added significant value to their overall supply chain, it enabled their trusted partners to work collaboratively with them which increased sales and cut costs thereby increasing service to the customer.
