Eva just google around i have the experia arc, which has been bugging me, so i change to cynogen 7 (i lost bluetooth and vibrate function) but there is a fix , as long as you read what others ave experienced and fixes to their issues you can decide whether its worth it BTW have you tried their PC suite upgrade? works very well if you device officially supports the update. Anyway, I have Xperia X10i which I upgraded using the SE Software Suite. It's running Gingerbread 2.3.3. The update for your model is http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-mini-pro/ and you should not be afraid to brick your phone - you learn from the experience and you can always buy another:-)
