Dear Friends,
Have you registered for #idlelo6?
Every 2 years, FOSSFA and its partners host Africa's premier FOSS Conference and Networking event. And in just over 4 weeks, we will descend on Nairobi for #idlelo6.
If you are in Nairobi, surely we expect to see you at Strathmore University, 24th - 28th March 2014.
If your home country has a Linux User Group, contact
idlelo@idlelo.net for some unique rates that may be up for grabs for Linux Communities allover the African Continent.
We are looking to partner with more people on Trainings, but you may also be interested in being a partner or an exhibitor - come talk to us, and we can help you raise your brand within the FOSS Community.
We expect strong presence from the East African Community, the Kenyan Government (who were flag bearers for open data) as well as lots of representation from every corner of Africa.
You may be thinking, how about #IDLELO7? Well, if you have already placed your Home City Bid, the winner will be announced at #idlelo6 - if you haven't, make haste.
This is a very exciting time for FOSSFA and for the FOSS Community allover Africa - its time to meet again, at the grazing ground - at #idlelo6
All information you require is on
www.idlelo.net - and if you need to talk to someone,do not hesitate to get in touch.
See you in Nairobi, soon.
