If u have installed another windows instance in the same machine then u can access ur docs by changing the ownership of your old profile in documents and settings.
Replace ownership for your account/profile and all child files and directories.

Look for Hiren's Boot CD. It has some NT Password reset utilities that
you can use to reset you account password. But I would advise you to
use something like EBCD or Active BootDisk, download mwav.exe from
www.mwti.net and clean your laptop before resetting your password.
