@Dennis, some thots and general comments... :-) For thousands of years, the pretenders and self-denialists of "we have just become a modern world, young nations need time and money" would have done something but they did not. No, not even in the Information Age where excuses are similar to that of the years gone by, almost everyone is re-living the same story. If you ask me, there is no difference between the genetics of Einstein and us yet we all know what took place. From Physics to Chemistry to Medicine. Yet, recently Bubonic plague was reported in some place in Uganda. This is the same plague that almost wiped out Europe and other nations. You would wonder that such have been eradicated in these modern times. From the great structures in Egypt to the Aztecs, to the Ethiopian Obelix shows signs of true engeering. The rest, as @Thomas put it is between the grass and the goat even quite realistically carried forward to the Information Age. The Congo Kingdown openly practised slavery even before the early explorers started using it yet it is explorers generations who eventually stopped slavery. I'm quite sorry to have written this impolite or offensive thread, but sincerely hope that some of us can search deep down and wake up from our butts to do things. Or accept the concept of the grass/goat and life can continue as it was. No offense nor ill-feelings intended, just some food for thot. Rgds. At the same time, I see this question online oftenly:
1. Why is it that the agrarian and Industrial revolutions happened in EuroAsia but not in Africa. 2. Why is it that till this moment, Africa is not actively involved in R&D and its own manufacturing. Most of our manufacturing is based on R&D from other countries.
