I have been unable to use Orange GSM EDGE since Saturday night. I called customer care on Sunday morning and after a long checklist including whether I had restarted my machine, they informed me that their network was suffering from congestion. I inquired whether the congestion had been ongoing for more than 10 hours including 3 am in the morning, and I was advised to keep uninstalling and re-installing the software till it works. I did not bother to explain I was on linux. Anyway, I called an engineer fro Orange later on and he said that they had suffered some "accident" and the billing system for GSM Data had been affected.
