1. A VPN between them users there and the servers here

2. Deploy one of the Citrix apps, i forget which one, Citrix Receiver maybe, I hear it makes remote access much much much faster

3. If the connection between them there and here is super awesome, then VNC and/or Remote Desktop?

Like you are hinting at, you could host your Quickbooks up in the cloud
