I know all that i.e. you cannot patent an idea and the likes but lets not bind our thoughts to that, the whole idea is to protect your main money source lines. I mean apple patented the slide to unlock the phone isn't that a form of claiming ownership. The idea is to accept that soon Kenyans shall be hatching cutting edge ideas as money makers should we be thinking of a way to make them retain their source of money.....

Hey Skunks

Now that all the major players are sueing each other over infringment i.e. apple, samsung, android, Microsoft etc how does one go around patenting ideas/concepts locally. This is given that .ke is fast becoming an innovation hub I'm just wondering is there law/body that can protect the community?
