Kenya doesn't have a VP. But what's the purpose of .africa if the entities are Kenyan?

Comments:
1. Some of those listed items belong to a .kenya intead of a .africa, for example nssf.africa. 
2. There are inconsistencies in some of the entries. For example, why have nairobihospital.africa and leave out all the other hospitals in the same class? Why have Kenyattanationalhospital.africa and leave out moiteachingandreferralhospital.africa and both are in the same class?
3. Thikasuperhighway.africa? Thikaroad.africa? I fail to grasp the importance of having one such as that. If you must include it, why leave out all the class A roads? At least if it was for a railway line from Ethiopia through Kenya to Tanazania, it would make more sense
4. Waiyakiway.africa and mombasaroadkenya.africa should simply be removed. If not, then have all roads and streets.
5. Have an entry for each of the counties
6. Why have dailynation.africa, which is owned by a private entity (i think...) and leave out the other privately owned media?
7. If we are going to have Ministryoflabourkenya.africa, then all ministries should be there. But remember, ministries exist and cease to exist at the whim of the current government.
8. If we are going to have cck.africa and posta.africa, shouldn't we also have an entry for all the other government agencies, parastatals and institutes? 
9. If we are going to have uhurugardens.africa, then include all sites and monuments managed by NMK


Under CATEGORY 2: GEOGRAPHIC NAMES

Comments:
1. There are just too many incosistencies here, I would propose to include all KWS owned and managed parks, reserves (all 33 of them) and museums managed by NMK (all 20 of them).
2. If there is going to be e.g. Eldoret.africa, then let each town get one, if not, leave them all out.
3. If each town cant get an entry, then let each county get one.
4. Have a single entry for all geographic features of social value. No need to have Mtkenya.africa and Mountkenya.africa
5. Should we have an entry for all rivers and lakes?
6. If we are going to have karuraforest.africa and ngongforest.africa, shouldn't we have an entry for each forest in Kenya?


Under CATEGORY 3: RELIGIOUS CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC

Comments:
1. Have an entry for each of the languages spoken in Kenya
2. Should we have an entry for each religion practiced in Kenya?
3. We should not have aembu.africa and Embu.africa. Either have all languages (i.e. kiembu), and/or all towns/counties (Embu), and/or tribes (Aembu). Whichever is picked, it needs to be done for everyone.
4. If we are going to have gormahia.africa, then let each football club under KPL get an entry
5. If we are going to have harambeestars.africa, then let all national teams, in all sports, get an entry
6. If we are going to have MashujaaDay.africa and JamhuriDay.africa, shouldnt we have an entry for all national holidays in Kenya?
7. In the entry kalenjinnitght.africa, what exactly is "kalenjinnitght"? If that was meant to be "kalenjinnight.africa", then either remove it or add one for all tribes in Kenya
8. magicalkenya.africa seems out of place. Is it a government agency? Is it a slogan like "Pride of Africa"?

General Comments
1. It is not about what is included or excluded from those lists, I think that the consistency of the inclusion or exclusion is more important, so as to be fair to everyone.
2. The process should be to come up with guidelines on what to include and not include, then use that guideline to generate the list. 

Example Guidelines:
1. All KWS managed parks
2. All NMK managed museums, sites and monuments
3. All counties
4. All tribes, languages and religions of Kenya
5. All public holidays
6. All mountains, hills, rivers, lakes and forests in Kenya (maybe not)

The Dot Africa project has now reached a stage where African Governments are being offered an opportunity to reserve domain names that are of National significance before the dot Africa Top Level Domain is opened to general domain name registrations. Kenya’s representative to the Government Advisory Committee (GAC) of ICANN (CCK), Kenya’s Advisor to the Government Advisory Committee (GAC) of ICANN (Ministry of ICT) and KENIC have compiled the following list of government names for the Republic of Kenya and is inviting stakeholders for review and input before the list is submitted to the AU for implementation by end of January 2014. Kindly go through the list and give feedback on names that Brand Kenya Board would like to have added on the list or suggest areas that you recommend change.

Comments should be sent by 17th January 2014.
