At client side, both links terminate on one router mostly cisco 1721 or 1841 series. On NOC side all links terminate on same router but mostly specifuc sub interfaces. Like one serial with different sub-interfaces or Vlans Sub interfaces in terms of fibre connection

Does the fiber and serial interfaces terminate on the same router, both
at the NOC and at the customer?
Does the fiber interface for each customer terminate on a dedicated
interface on the NOC side that will transition to DOWN in case of a
problem?
