Hi Leonard,

I did a simple implementation of Kenyan Open Data on my classifieds app C http://store.ovi.com/search?q=whive+classifieds

Used it to provide situational content to job listings I aggregate every day by correlating the listing and any relevant data from the api.

e.g. if you were looking for a job in Mombasa the app would provide more information about Mombasa in the context of the job.

There is still room for improvement as the AI analysis algorithm has just scratched the surface.

There is tonnes you can do e.g. in Health, Agriculture and other sectors that remains untapped.

I hope I have been of help.

Cheerz,

John

Try looking at ways where you can use machine learning on the data generated. This will help analysts to have reports they never thought of ie by using mining algorithms that can learn to identify training samples not intially labeled and thereafter model sensible information or analytics out of them without user interventions/ explicit programming.

Wilson.
