This might have been answered already. Why not use something like google groups? There are other lists like ke-internetusers, where do they host (Alex)?

If all the server is doing is maintaining this list then is it worth purchasing a server?

BTW:  Top/Bottom posting would have really benefited this thread. Had to hop through the emails to know the history.
