Hello guys,

I have a wordpress website that I want to change the permalinks from the numbers(localhost/test/?page_id=2) to the pretty permalinks e.g. localhost/test/about.

I have changed on the settings on the admin panel but the pages don't reflect but show a server error. From the panel you are required to change some settings on htaccess but the file isn't on my root. When I start a htaccess file it still brings the error. My research so far has been somewhat futile.

Any advice will be appreciated.
