I don't want to be proved wrong afterwards, but I don't see FB users "talking". There is some false sense of privacy in typing what is in your mind than talking it out. Anyway, I'm yet to understand why FB is introducing voice, They must be knowing something we don't.
I personally don't even like using FB chat or googlechat on the gmail interface. My chats are out on an app that supports multiple login to google/yahoo/msn... I am yet to start using hangout....
How many have Google accounts and make use of voice chat?
