Hello Pastor Phares<LOL>,

I greet you in the name of our beloved saviour, Jesus Christ. After the greeting, I'd like to share with you some very important information on the developments taking place in Kenya, and request you to share your wealth of knowledge with your flock, also known as skunks.

After reading this article - http://tinyurl.com/mwwkkg - and the below security bulletin sent to some NGOs, please advise your flock on what they need to know about their surrounding.

"Dear all,

Nairobi and other major towns are experiencing an increase in carjackings and abductions. These carjackings are prevalent late evening and at night and along deserted roads at all times of the day. Numerous reports of carjackings have been reported along the several by-passes especially the one from Mombasa Road, Carnivore - Langata - Kibera through Ngong Forest to Dagoretti Corner. Kilimani area especially the area around Yaya Center, Orange House, Muringa Road and Riara Road towards The Junction have also recently become danger spots. If possible avoid these areas and those where you are forced to drive slowly in secluded areas.
We have also received information that robberies and muggings have increased in most estates in Nairobi and the robbers kill at little or no provocation. Please plan to reach your house early and avoid unnecessary drive or leisure walking within your shopping centre or estate. Above all, remain alert.
You may have also read about criminals who kill and throw dead bodies at moving vehicles. If something of that nature happens to you, do not stop but drive straight to the nearest police station and report the same.
This is not to alarm but to caution you to be alert and cautious as you go about your business. Current crime rates are alarming and it is important that you have emergency telephone contacts for your nearest police station (see attached). I understand a number of them are in good working condition.
Note that your safety and that of your family will depend a lot on your degree of vigilance and inquisitiveness of your surroundings.
"

Amen.
