[Skunkworks] Online freelancer joba

Hi good people. My niece recently got wind of these online jobs that apparently pay well and wants in on it. She actually did some transcription and data entry on a "trial" basis but never got the cash (she's been checking her PayPal account every nine minutes). There's some local guys who claim to hook up freelancers to such jobs but at a fee, and I've told her that's probably a scam too. Problem is I don't know where to refer her to. Has anyone here had luck with such? Regards, Steve
