Lots of lone rangers I agree, but as the industry matures and there is more money in our budgets, lots of collaborative work will be born either from the hubs,labs or RD teams.
Can't agree any more. That's the right bet on the future. (I'm not a prophet)

The more tech-prenuers experience some windfall, the more we will see a lot of nifty crafting and contributions to the open source.
Has happened to me. So true that! How did you tell so easily?
