Some techies like Branton (in this list) should give you better answers than mine.
Guys who are into electronics will tell you that they can take off the boards for scavenging - getting capacitors, diodes, ICs but they cannot quantify a value for the board, and definately zero for the casings!
If you are lucky to find someone to inherit the e-waste from you, don't hesitate - don't even look for money!
Am planning to dispose alot of dead PCS.
Is there someone/company that buys the said, if you do or know someone
who does pls get intouch with ASAP.
