I tell you, those guys at Dubai airport are super strict!! very hard to give exceptions...but am wondering if things hv changed because Dubai Visa's are most of the time sent by the accomodating hotel..and you hv to confirm receipt of it b4 jetting off, otherwise, they usually dont care if u a celeb or not, deport you mbio sana..... Apologies to those who feel nothing for Rugby. The Kenya 7s team was technically 'deported' back to the country this morning after they arrived in Dubai hoping to get their VISAs at the Airport only to find that it was a public holiday there and the Airport Officials felt nothing.
This is likely to coz major fall out in KRFU as apparently some official with the Union was supposed to 'hook them up' with VISAs but went Mteja when swarmed with calls. This is so embarrassing and could see us missing whatever chance their is to move up the IRB Series.
