Well I ran out of Orange credit today morning and did not have the time to buy some until later. So I borrowed a friend's safaricom modem and now I discover that Safaricom is expensive and much has changed since I used it in jan this year.

 

Orange sustains speeds of upto 35KB/s = kshs 4,000 = 4GB of data usage

 

Safaricom speeds are all over the place, finally settled to 25KB/s = Kshs 10,000 = 4GB of data usage

 

I hope I got the rates correctly. Do the above figures justify Safaricom? Corrections welcome.
