This is a good partnership and beneficial to the general public but I think its becoming unreliable. There have been several complains of people not being able to withdraw their money from either end and none of the two companies is taking any responsibility. A friend of mine approached both companies with this issue and this is what they had to say. Safcom with all its wise people say 'Our system detected an error on your transaction and it was automatically reversed. Please advise the sender to cancel the transaction and try again' To which western union says, 'Your transaction is irreversible because the money has already been picked up by the recipient there is nothing we can do on our side' Who is telling the truth here and what should an ordinary Kenyan do in such a situation? -- Be the change you want to see in the world.
