Way back in the 90's when we used to create RAS services via 14.4kbps/33.6kbps on serial and DUN lines/E1 lines, did you ever design a system that complete crashed and not allow authentication? Me, I've never ever ever seen a RAS system that has authetication problems ( unless someone stole the users password ). Some RAS authentication would be via winNT ( sp1 ) or accounts via nix. kwani what has changed so much that even basic things like authetication go down ? Share you thots...
